These are exactly what I needed. Just got my plasma cutter and after reading about it alot online, I discovered that you dont want the nozzle to touch your work surface.

The standoff guide makes cutting steel much smoother and easier to guide the torch over the material. And it protects the tip from the work so it stays sharp while cutting.
